Hello,
I have a rodeo I used a year or two a ago to play rec. on weekends. I've recently been invited to play in some private games with more serious players (in-laws) and have decided to take them up on it. They all have e-triggered guns and are fairly serious players.
My question is, what do I need to do to get my rodeo's bps up. I found this - http://www.pntball.com/Items/76449237?&caSKU=76449237&caTitle=Kingman%20Paintball%20Spyder%20ETrigger%20E-Trigger%20Frame - it says it accommodates a rodeo, is it just a bolt on procedure or will it require more modification or other parts to function at its fullest potential. I also read I should upgrade to a delrin bolt if I get an e trigger, that is pretty straight forward, I need a rear cocking bolt, right? I already have hpa, and a 15 bps electronic hopper. If I need any other mods, I'll probably have to ask for clarification, I don't know much about markers. I just figured out what the abbreviation VA stands, I still have no idea what one does.
Also what kind of performance can I expect from a trigger like that, will it be the same ballpark as the super-duper-uber expensive stuff.

Hey all. New to the boards here mostly because I own and love my BL Millenium. I am sad they stopped making them and have very little (from what I have seen) in aftermarket parts for it. I just have a basic set up and would like to get a few things for it. Is there a electronic trigger that will work on that gun? What barrel does anyone recommend for it?
The gun is a great gun and very reliable. The only problem I have had with it is the metal threading part that holds the hopper to the gun stripped out. I had to super glue it and electrical tap it onto the gun. It works fine but I am afraid it will break on me again. Any info on any of the above would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

To the Low Pressure Enthusiasts…
I have completed the many Low Pressure mods on my Spyder e-99 Avant and I am now running at a sweet spot of 400PSI with High Pressure Air. My Key Mods are:
Palmer Stabilizer High Flow VA Removed brass filter from ASA at tank screw in New Designz High Flow Valve Spring Kit Kingman Anti-chop bolt Polished Striker Crossfire Peanut 70ci 4500psi tank (1,300 shots realized with low pressure!) Teardrop Barrel Viewloder Revolution relaced with Halo b
I recently played competitively for the first time with the new Low Pressure set-up and while my accuracy increased, and yes no shoot down on velocity at a fast rate of fire!, I was experiencing chopped balls. Breaking paint became real annoying and put me out of the game a few times. Some words of advice for those who venture into this low pressure arena – Do yourself a favor and when you buy the components get yourself a Halo b or comparable hopper that pressure feeds the paintballs. My Viewloader Revolution just could not keep up causing broken paint in the marker – but it is not the speed of the loader it’s the technology of how it loads and what now is different with low pressure... read on….
I have read about lowering pressure on Spyders everywhere on the Web and this is really not mentioned but is a critical part of the modification if you want to be able to shoot as fast and stay in the game as the high end gun guys can. When you go low pressure you are modifying the principals the engineers designed into the marker from an airflow perspective and you need to address the outcome of this change. I feel that the original design as we all know of a “Blowback Type” marker is to allow more pressure in a faster burst (Hence the 850psi normal operating pressure of Spyders) but when you lower the pressure and increase the air volume you get more air flowing thus more air (volume) pushing or bowing back on the bolt and also rising up the feed tube disrupting the gravity feed of the balls – Causing chops and the gravity loading principal is disrupted resulting in inconsistent paintball loading. While this inconsistency is small attempting to shoot at 15 bps it is not small and quite disruptive causing missfires and broken paint. Actually I did not break paint much at all with the non-modified high pressure set-up of this marker before modifying to low pressure. Also, with high pressure I shot faster more consistently – no misfeeds – however accuracy was horrible becasue of CO2 shootdown, poor regulation ect. Anyway, once I added a Halo hopper problems were solved!! Refs and other players were amazed at the performance of this marker on the field, many had to hold it and look at it as if in disbelief it can shoot as well as an Ion, Impulse, Shocker or Autococker. You must factor in a force feed hopper which compensated for this additional feed tube air blowback.
Final Note: My son has an Impulse fully modifed for turney play and side by side with Halo hoppers the markers appear to shoot nearly as fast and almost as consitstently. My e-99 total $ spent for all gear including tanks $700 his $1,500. His - no “WOW” factor because after all its and Impulse.. Mine quite the opposite…..
